Peter is a horticulturist and urban planner by trade. He has spent the past 30 years developing green public spaces for Brisbane and Redland Shire. Peter never does anything without considering the impacts of 10, 20 and 30 years into the future.

Farmer Peter has developed his signature Pots of Colour, using his incredible planting skills and his plant nutrition program from NutriTech to create the most splendid array of colours, his Pots of Colour are a premium floral gift or decoration.

Susan talks to cows. And the cows talk to her. Whilst her three daughters think she’s an eccentric cow whisperer, they also know she is never happier than when she is surrounded by her animals. Susan’s vision is to give the Berkeley Farm fauna the happiest lives possible. She loves them and she treats them with respect. Don’t be fooled though, Farmer Susan is no soft touch. She’s a farmer through and through and she knows her animals also serve and important purpose. Which is why you can buy our premium meat products from happy, well-loved animals.

A savvy business consultant and accountant, Farmer Susan is also helping local businesses manage their cashflow and improve their administration.

Melody is a young farmer and young visionary completing her agricultural science major. Melody is our farm scientist – demanding us all to be precise in our farming practises. She supports Peter in analysing and assessing soil health, and more often than not can be found on a ladder somewhere.

Studying at UQ’s Gatton campus down the road, Melody invites the young community to come and be a part of our farm.

Farmer Rachael is 100% the soft touch of the family. She is the rescuer, the nurse, the carer, the chef and the resident fusspot. She loves all cute animals, and she loves to share them with people. Rachael runs the farm parties, bringing young children to the farm to enjoy, appreciate and learn about our animals. Rachael has always known what tastes good, and she prepares the milk, cheese and yogurt. If anyone ever asks what the secret sauce to our farm products are – it’s Rachael.

Cortney has spent more than 10 years working in marketing roles, but nothing makes her happier than organising people to play games. She has long been coined the Director of Organised Fun, and she helps the Berkeley Farm farmers organise the commercial aspects of the business. She also supports the Merryweather Events to ensure everything is smooth sailing.
